This is an authentic Russian Mosin Nagant from 1938. It is model M91/30. The caliber is 7.62 x 54R. The numbers found all match, except for the number on the bolt. The same number was found on the magazine, top of the action, barrel shroud, and butt stock plate. It still has the cleaning rod and the correct bayonet.
This is a firearm and the sale of firearms is regulated by the U.S. Department of Justice and the State of California. All firearms must be transferred through a Federal Firearms Dealer. This firearm will be transferred to the buyer by Action Arms in Woodland, CA. Action Arms is a Federal Firearms Dealer, and will handle the transfer to the new buyer, along with the required background check. They are located at 274B West Main Street in Woodland (inside the Cooper Tire Building). Their website is www.action-arms.net
The high bidder will first pay the purchase price, along with the Sales Tax and Buyer’s premium to Sac Valley Auctions. When that is complete, you will then go to Action Arm’s location at 274 B West Main Street and complete the necessary paperwork for the background check and the transfer. You will be required to pay an additional fee to Action Arms of $25.00 for the background check (fee set by state), and $40.00 to transfer the firearm into your name. PLEASE DON’T BID OR ATTEMPT TO BUY THIS GUN UNLESS YOU CAN PASS THE DOJ BACKGROUND CHECK. The State of California requires a 10 day waiting period in order to take posession of a firearm. The 10 days will begin when you complete the paperwork at Action Arms, and the firearm will remain with them until the 10 days is complete.
