  • Both of these sets have bad spine coves, like the books got sun sitting on the shelf. The front and back covers are generally in good condition. The larger set with 48 volumes is a Limited Edition of Dickens’ Complete Works, all are numbered 4 of 1,000 copies. All are the Roxburgh Edition, published in Boston by Estes and Lauriat in 1892. The other set has 32 volumes, all by Bonore’ de Balzac. This set is the Buckner Library Edition, published by E.B. Hall & Locke Co., Boston, NY, and Philadelphia. No date found, all appear to be late 1800’s. All are in boxes, and appear to have been in the boxes for a long time.
