Description:
  • A very heavy-duty wood splitter that started right up and the 2-cylinder diesel motor runs smoothly at all speeds. It needs a battery, we had to jump. The big 3” Ram moves smoothly down and back. The front has a flap so it can handle pieces up to 27” long. With the flap down it will split up to a 21.5” piece. The motor is made by Kirloskar, in India. It appears to be Model RD2. It has a keyed ignition, but the key was lost. We used a remote starter between the terminals on back of the switch to get it started, very easy to do. Tires are in good condition. Seller tells us it is not licensed for the highway, and never has been. It has been at local homes with orchards most of its life. Buyer can back right up to it.
