Description:
  • The motor was hard to start, but runs well. It doesn’t pump any air into the tank or build up any air pressure at all. The compressor motor sounds like it is working, but no air. There is a stuck air valve somewhere. The motor smokes a little when you crank it up from idle, but it had been sitting for a long time. The motor is a Honda GX140, 5.0 hp. The compressor is an Emglo. It has all of the mechanism in place to stop pumping and slow the motor down when it reaches pressure in the tank. Needs a guard over the pulleys.
