A unique design in the Thomas Jefferson style. Closed up, it looks like a simple occasional table. The whole front, including the front of the legs, slides out to reveal a work surface. The top of the work surface can slide back and there is storage below. The top tilts up in the back to hold a book or drawings. It also has a unique roll out storage drawer on the outside of the drawer. Well made, all wood with quality craftsmanship. Very good condition. All closed up, it is 33” tall, and the top is 33” wide and 22” deep. Pulled out, the front writing surface is 29” high, and it becomes 36” deep to the back. The chair is all wood, older construction. It has a few scuffs on the legs, and some light wear on the backrest, but is sturdy and well made. The top of the back is 38”, the seat is 22” wide at the front and easily fits the desk.
