Description:
  • A unique desk. Seller tells us it was originally a Schoolmaster’s Desk, with storage under the podium on top, and a cabinet in front to hold the students’ slates. Both doors have locks, and the skeleton key is included that fits both. Made with Oak, quarter sawn throughout with dovetails that appear hand cut. It has been refinished at some point. Very good condition, including the hinges and both locks. The top is just under 41” high, sides are 39” wide and it is 21” deep.
