Description:
  • All original, and in exceptionally good original condition. Has been inside a shop for at least 20 years, not subjected to elements. Seller tells us the owner pulled the engine and replaced the rings and did a valve job (for which he was very qualified!) in the early 1990’s and never put it back in the water. The motor rebuild was completed, and it was bolted back in and connected to the outdrive, but the fuel tank was never re-installed. The fuel tank(s) is not here. The fuel inlet, which is on the bow, is not connected and the chrome ring is off
  • The boat itself is a 1968 Glasspar Flying V, Serial Number 81786 8068257, with 1350 lb capacity, and 6 seats. Glasspar was renowned in its day for being one of the only fiberglass boats that were laid up by hand. There are 2 old marine gas tanks included at buyer’s option, but they are not the correct tanks for the boat, and don’t have electrical for the fuel gauge.
  • The Motor is a Ford 289 Interceptor, with 210 hp, the highest available that year. Includes the original owner’s manual. It has been sitting for a long time, but was professionally rebuilt and has not run since.
  • The outdrive is labeled as an Eaton Interceptor, but is made by Volvo-Penta. Includes the original Eaton manual, and a Volvo Penta Service Manual
  • The trailer is heavy duty, dual axle, and can tilt. Overall it is just under 19’ Long. The wiring all appears to be intact, and it has steps on each side of the fenders. The tires are at least 20 years old, all had air in them.
  • Was very dirty from sitting in the shop, but cleaned up nicely. The interior, including the upholstery, is all in good condition. Has electric winders for the ski rope out back. Includes a boat cover, ladder, and several bumpers.
