This authentic flag is personal sized, probably made to be carried. It is behind glass in a frame and measures about 13 inches wide and 10 inches high. The Japanese WW II 8th Class of the Rising Sun Medal is also believed to be authentic from the WW II era. The 4 Japanese bands are reproductions.

This flag and medals were taken to The Tin Soldier, at 222 Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville, for authentication. The Tin Soldier has been in the war memorabilia business for 33 years and is well qualified to authenticate items like this.
