Description:

Identified as an Afghan Jezail Rifle, probably from the mid to late 1800’s. Muzzle loading, with unique curved stock, and many decorations on the sides. Complete with the rod. May have been repaired long ago on top of the back of the stock - see pics. Uniquely decorated with mother of pearl, brass and other decorations. An exotic rifle, unique to the history of Afghanistan. Overall it is just over 5’ long. The barrel is about 44”.
