Description:

Exceptional craftsmanship, with detailed wood carvings on front, and a unique design. The front flap opens for a desk surface, with multiple drawers and pigeon holes inside. There is a wide drawer below, and 3 locking drawers behind cabinet doors. The upper desk flap also locks shut, and all locks work with the included skeleton key. Also has a mirror in the very top section, with beveled glass. The desk is believed to date to the mid 1800's or earlier
The top is 56" tall, and it is just under 47" wide. With the desk flap down, it is 32.5" deep. With the desk surface up, it is 20.5" deep
Most of the desk is made with solid quarter sawn oak. The rounded sections on front are covered with an oak veneer. One section of the veneer on the left side has been repaired - see pics
Solid and in very good original condition. Has wheels on bottom, but one is missing and that corner is held in place with a block of wood. Also has a few scuffs in the rounded section on bottom. This is a unique and gorgeous desk, with a very functional design
