Overall it is 39" long. The blade itself is 31" long. The blade is marked 'Kreisa 25, Bury St, St James's London'. The upper part of the sheath may have been repaired at some point. Owner tells us this has been in the family at least 50 years, and was purchased by his grandmother in London. She believed it dated to the early 1800's.
