Description:

Both are hand carved wood, seller tells us these were acquired by her father in Iran in the early 1960's. At the time he was told there is one for a boy and one for a girl baby, and they were used by Nomadic Kurdish Shepards. The baby was strapped to a swaddling board, with a hole cut out for the tube.
