Description:
  • This has been identified as a Sailor’s flask, probably from a Whaling Ship. A cork would be added to the top. The sunflower design is from the Colonial Period to about 1850, from the Northeastern US. It is all wood, with a metal band around each end. It is about 5.5” tall and 7.5” wide.
