This is a firearm, subject to state and federal regulations. All firearm purchases must be picked up at Woodland Firearms, a newly licensed Federal Firearms Dealer located in Woodland, Ca. They will oversee the required transfer, background check, and 10 day waiting period required by law. Woodland Firearms, operates from a private location by appointment only. It is easy to make an appointment on their website, and they will contact you to confirm the appointment and location. They have these firearms and they are available for viewing, by appointment during their normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. To make an appointment, click HERE. In addition to the purchase price of the firearm, the buyer will be required to pay directly to Woodland Firearms a Background Check fee of $37.19, a Dealer Fee of $63.00 ($73.00 for Long Guns), and a PPT fee of $10.00. There will also be a 10-day waiting period starting when the background check paperwork is complete, until the buyer can take possession of the firearm. There are also several other rules to be aware of prior to bidding, including:
- The firearm buyer must pass a safety test to obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate, or hold a valid California Hunting License. (Unless they are Active-Duty Military, Peace Officer, etc.). Woodland Firearms can administer this test and issue the Firearm Safety Certificate for a fee of $25.00.
- In most cases you need a Real ID to purchase a firearm. A Driver’s License is usually not sufficient, unless you also have a certified copy of your Birth Certificate. A current passport will also work.
- There are additional rules for purchasing a handgun. You must provide proof of residency, such as a utility bill.
