Description:
  • Believed to be Trench Art from World War II. It is made with an embossed large shell casing, surrounded by spent 30-06 and .45 shells. It has the letters US MDS, for Medical Detachment Service from an infantry unit. It sits on a wood base and is in good condition. It has a hole through the side of the base and a grove underneath for a cord. Was used as a lamp at one point.
