Description:
  • Published in Berlin in 1936, and written in German. This may be a very early version of this book, because all of the pictures throughout the book are glued on to the page. All appear to be intact. The 1936 Berlin Olympics were both Winter and Summer, and this book may be a censored version - no pictures or reference to Jesse Owens was found in the track and field section. It has a small tear on the lower cover where it attaches, and some light yellowing and staining on most pages. Overall in good condition. It is about 9.5” x 12.5”.
