Description:
  • The display box has all of the hardware earned by Colonel Henry A. Hardt, Jr. Who joined the U.S. Air Force in 1941, and was a navigator who flew numerous missions during World War II. He retired as a full Colonel in 1965. Along the top is an Air Medal for Meritorious Service during World War II, a Commendation Medal, and a WWII Victory Medal. Below are various Service medals, hat pins, bars and other hardware. To the right is an oil painting of the Colonel. Also includes some other military hardware from his long career with the USAF. This all came from the home of his daughter, who passed away in 2021. The medals are just sitting on a felt pad in the display, the hinged glass top holds them in place, and it is professionally made. 
  • The display box is 24” x 18”, and about 2” thick. The painting is on art board, and is 22” x 26” on the outside. The art board is 16” x 20”
