Model 1888 Imperial German Gewehr Rifle. Takes the 8mm Mauser Cartridge. Made in the 1880’s, so it does not have to be sold through a firearms dealer. The seller tells us the Model 88 was the first German Rifle chambered to fire the new ‘Smokeless’ Powder introduced by the French. Very good condition, especially for age. Includes a reproduction sling. Overall it is 49” long. Comes with several blank 8mm cartridges and 2 magazine clips.
