Sac Valley Auctions

This was awarded to the seller by a member of the Iranian Government in 1957. Seller was a Professor  at USC at the time, and volunteered for a 2 year assignment in Iran from 1955 to 1957, training government officials in Public Administration, for the US AID (Agency for International Development). See picture of this actual rug being presented to him in 1957 at the end of his project. It is about 8’ 1” long, plus a 2” to 3” fringe at each end, and 5’ 1” wide. A beautiful rug in very good condition.
