An early target rifle, that became the target shooting standard after it was introduced in 1920. Winchester Model 52, in .22 Long caliber. Bolt action, with the original 5 round clip inside. It all appears to be original and period correct. The stock has a nice finish, but there is some rust on the barrel, on a few spots on top of the action, and on the scope. The scope is marked ‘The Lyman Gun Sight Corp. Super Targetsport 10694. It is 24” long and very clear through the lens. The gun is Serial No. 41712 A. The barrel is 28”. Overall, it is 45.5” long. In addition to the purchase price of the firearm, the buyer will be required to pay directly to Woodland Firearms a Background Check fee of $37.19, and a Transfer fee of $73.00 ($63.00 for Handguns). There will also be a 10-day waiting period starting when the background check paperwork is complete, until the buyer can take possession of the firearm. There are also several other rules to be aware of prior to bidding, including:
- The firearm buyer must pass a safety test to obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate, or hold a valid California Hunting License. (Unless they are Active-Duty Military, Peace Officer, etc.). Woodland Firearms can administer this test, and issue the Firearm Safety Certificate for a fee of $25.00.
- In most cases you need a Real ID to purchase a firearm. A Driver’s License is usually not sufficient, unless you also have a certified copy of your Birth Certificate. A current passport will also work.
