Believed to be a .323 Mauser, not the 8 mm version (has S stamped on top of barrel). Side of action may have been cut to modify and make it left handed at some point, see pictures of left side. Currently has right handed bolt. The number on the bolt does not match the number on the action. Has long range flip up sight, and bayonet. Has a clean bore. The action is stamped Amberg, and the magazine is single stack. The serial number on the action and barrel (which match) is 316H. There are some dings on the barrel cover.
We believe this rifle was manufactured in 1895 or earlier, so it qualifies as an Antique and does not appear to require a FFL to transfer. If new information indicates it is newer and not antique, the buyer will be required to complete a Private Party Transfer with an FFL
