This is a 'Wall Hanger', replica of a Tennessee Civil War Musket. it does not fire, and has no internal firing mechanism. The barrel and outside of the action are metal. It is about 53 inches long. The side of the barrel is stamped 'Made in Belgium' The top of the barrel is stamped Dixie Gun Works, Union City Tennessee'. The other side is stamped '705' and '23'.
