This sword is a 'Wall Hanger'. It is a souvenir sword from India, made to look like an early authentic East Indian Sword.

This sword was taken to The Tin Soldier, at 222 Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville, for authentication. They concluded that it is not authentic. The Tin Soldier has been in the war memorabilia business for 33 years and is well qualified to authenticate items like this.
