See pictures of numbers. Has what appears to be the correct bayonet, with sheath and frog. Bore is in good condition, and bolt fits snugly. Tried to get a picture of all numbers and Nazi insignias found, including on action, stock, barrel, bayonet, sheath, front, and butt plate. Includes extra bayonet sheath of slightly different design. Looks like the stock has been refinished.
This is a firearm and the sale of firearms is regulated by the U.S. Department of Justice and the State of California. Although this firearm was manufactured more than 50 years ago and qualifies as a Relic, it still must be transferred to the buyer through a Federal Firearms Dealer, unless the buyer is a Firearms Dealer, or a Curio and Relic Firearms Licensee.
Action Arms in Woodland, CA can handle the transfer if necessary. They are located at 274B West Main Street in Woodland (inside the Cooper Tire Building). Their website is www.action-arms.net. They charge $40.00 for the Firearm Transfer, and $25.00 for the required background check. All charges for the Firearm Transfer and the Background check are the buyer’s responsibility. There is a mandatory 10 day waiting period to purchase any firearm in California, so the buyer will not be able to take possession of the firearm until 10 days after completing the required paperwork. The firearm will remain with the Firearms Dealer who is doing the transfer, during the 10 days.
