Believed to fit the U.S. Army Springfield 'Trapdoor'. Includes metal sheath and clip.

This bayonet was taken to The Tin Soldier, at 222 Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville, for authentication. The Tin Soldier has been in the war memorabilia business for 33 years and is well qualified to authenticate items like this. If we say in the description that it is Authentic, we are relaying Ken’s, from The Tin Soldier opinion, which we believe is correct.
