Believed to be authentic. From 1864 with an entry for almost every day of the year, through the end of December. Most entries are in pencil and hard to read. Some personal info in ink on the inside front page. One address is S. Carolina, another is Virginia. Very good original condition with some lite fading. Leather cover. Also includes a record of personal bills paid. Hard to read, but a lot of information.
