Both have been repainted. The height of both the desk and the seat are adjustable. The smaller desk has the desk and seat at the lowest settings, 14 inches for the seat and 25 1/2 inches for the desk surface. The larger desk has a seat heeight of about 16 1/2 inches and the desk height is about 28 1/2 inches high. The higher desk has a hold for the inkwell, otherwise they are both identical.
