These were used to hold bearings and shafts for large pieces of machinery during the industrial revolution. The longer blocks at about 17" long, and are designed to hold a bearing with a shaft through the center. The other 4 adjustable holders have babbit inserts and hold shaft ends, each is about 18" long. One has an end piece broken off. All are rusted, but intact.
