Description:

This machine is stamped 'Made in China' on the bottom and has a plastic knob, so it may be a reproduction. The Serial Number is 563774, which is before the first numbers in the singer database starting in 1871. Very good condition. Has been retrofitted with an electric motor, but the treadle assembly is all intact and works. Only missing the belt to go back to treadle power. The machine is in exceptionally good condition, especially the finish. It is well made with iron and brass. The base is also labeled Singer, with iron frame and a unique design on each side, with the Singer name. The wooden part of the cabinet is missing the drawers. The frame is sturdy.
