All carved wood and painted. Appears older, has some checks in the wood from drying. The middle section appears to be carved from a single log, with the upper wings added. The beak on top front is cracked all around, may have broken off at some point. Seller tells us he does not know the background or origin. Very unique, with lots of character. The top is 78” high, wingspan is 52”.
