Description:

Runs and drives well, but has been sitting a long time. 115k Original miles, with 5.7 V8 engine, A/T and original stereo. Also has P/S, P/B and low/high 4 Wheel Drive. The known issues are:
- The A/C does not work. Turning on the A/C does not engage the compressor. Could be electrical, or could need a new clutch and compressor motor.
- The electric driver’s seat does not work. The motor runs, but the seat does not move
- The battery does not hold a charge. With a charge, it will start the truck, and re-start it within a few minutes. The battery is dated 2019 and needs to be replaced.
- The rear lift gate works, but something is wrong with the wiring or switch. The switch at the tailgate does not activate it. One of the lights is on but not both on the switch. The gate was partially down when we got here. We were able to raise it by removing the back cover, and jumping a wire on the solenoid. It raised smoothly and appears to work well, but has a wiring issue. Power is getting to the lift motor.
- Since the battery went dead, it has not completed a drive cycle to verify that all systems are working to pass smog. The Check Engine light is not on, and we have no reason to believe it will not pass, but buyer is buying it as is and will be responsible for any smog repairs.
- The fuel pump inside the tank seems louder than it should be, may be a sign that it will need a fuel pump soon.
- Windshield has a crack along the bottom.
It drives well, with smooth ride and the front end is in good condition. The Michelin tires have a lot of tread. The stereo has good sound, and even the CD player works. The original tailgate and rear bumper are included, and both are in good condition. The body has a scrape at the wheel well on the right rear quarter panel, see pics. It also has a very light scrape at the left rear, and a ding below the [passenger door. The paint on the hood is well worn, see pics. Also missing one wheel cap on the right rear. It has been sitting outside, under a tree, and has dirt in the door jams and between the bed and the cab. Currently registered through February 2024. Buyer will be given the paperwork necessary to transfer title from the deceased owner, all signed by the Trustee of the estate. Includes 2 keys and one Fob, but the battery in the Fob is weak. It feels like a classic Silverado going down the road, and could be a nice truck with some TLC.
