Description:
  • Body is 14" long, overall it is 23.25" long
  • Stamped 'Stainer' on the back. The tag inside reads 'Jacobus Stainer in Absam, prope Oeniponium 1665'
  • Includes wooden bow that is 29" long, and needs to be re-haired. Could not find any markings on the bow
  • The sound peg and bridge are intact. No cracks found. There is the beginning of minor separation in the middle of the front part of the body - only the section directly under the tailpiece, see pics. Could be easily repaired. One of the tuning pegs has been replaced
  • Includes an antique leather case stamped M & W Co. on the latch, 2 extra bridges, and an assortment of strings inside the case
