Description:

The table has two extension leaves. Includes the table plus 8 chairs - 2 of the chairs are Captain Style
The table surface is 29" high, and 44.75" deep. With both leaves in, it is 8' long. Each extension leaf is 18" long, so without any leaves it is 5' long. With a single extension leaf it is 6'6" long
Has two 3 leg pedestal bases, each is fluted with brass claw feet and castors
The chairs have wide seats. Each is 36" tall at the back. The seats are 18.5" high, 21.5" wide at the front and 17" deep. The 2 arm chairs are just under 25" wide at the outside of the arms.
Unique design to hold the leaves in place, a brass U shaped piece is inserted into the end and the adjoining section
Seller tells us this set is American, and was purchased in New England between 1890 and 1900
One of the armless chairs has had one of the spokes on the back repaired, and the surface shows minor use
Well-made and a beautiful set in very good condition, especially for age
