Description:

Seller believes this dates to the mid 1800's. It is exceptionally well made and in very good condition. Parts are held together with square nails
The flap opens to make a work surface with leather inlay. Inside are multiple drawers including 2 concealed Pigeon Hole drawers, and a sliding storage compartment. The work surface is supported by pulling the two boards from the top of the lower section
The lower section has 4 drawers
The top is 39" tall and 30" wide. With the flap closed, it is 18.5" deep. With the desk folded out, the work surface is 28" wide and 13" deep, plus the inside section
The upper key is included and the lock works. It does not work in the locks on the 2 lower drawers
Shows age, and has been refinished. Has some minor chips in the veneer – see pics. Solid and in very good condition, especially for age. A beautiful piece
