Description:
  • Rare, early production Krag M1892 Rifle, with the correct Bayonet and leather carrying strap. The rifle is marked Springfield Arsenal. Serial Number 18423, which dates to 1896. See pics of detailed description from seller, describing the arsenal reconditioning to the Model 1896 Configuration. 49” long, with a 30” barrel. Also includes 30-40 reloading dies, bullets, brass and a takedown guide. The bayonet is marked US on one side of the blade and 1895 on the other side. It attaches correctly to the rifle, and includes the scabbard with belt loop. The blade is unsharpened and 11” long, overall it is 16” long. The rifle was made before 1898, so FFL not required
