Made by Pietta, as a replica of the 1851 Navy Sheriff .44 Revolver. It fires, with a black powder load. Single action, and the barrel is 4 7/8”. It has a brass grip frame, stainless cylinder and barrel, and wood grips. There is detailed scroll work on the barrel and frame, with a sheriff’s badge on each side of the barrel, and a Navy scene on the cylinder. Has been fired, and shows light wear, all in good condition. This revolver is Black Powder, so does not require an FFL.
