Description:
  • The first commercially successful 12-gauge pump shotgun. A rare Bannerman Spencer Model 1896, with Damascus barrel for Black Powder loads. Good working condition, and seller tells us it fires, and includes 45 black powder loads, all 00 buckshot. It has normal wear on the bluing from age, and is in good working condition. Serial Number 12331. Was manufactured prior to 1898, so no FFL required. The barrel is 32”, overall it is 50.5”. Note - this shotgun will not handle modern 12-gauge shells, they will blow apart the barrel, and it can be fatal.
