Description:
  • The larger bag is believed to be a petite doctor’s bag from the early 1900’s, with alligator belly skin. It is all intact, and the latch and both side locks work. The only markings found are a 10 and 101 stamped into the bottom. The handle is coming loose on one end, but usable as is. Otherwise it shows some wear on the corners but is in good condition, especially for age. It is about 10” wide at the top and 12” below, and 9.5” to the top of the handle. The smaller gold mesh purse is by Whiting and Davis, and is about 7” x 4”.
