Description:

The 4 books along the top are a limited edition 4 volume set, limited to 1,000 copies, titled ‘The Birds of California’. It is the Booklovers edition, published in 1923 by South Milton Co. All pages are intact, the covers show some wear, and there is a name written inside each. The Pinocchio appears to be a first edition, but is in poor condition, all pages are attached, but the covers are starting to separate. The Treasure Island is an early edition by McMillan in average to poor condition. The two-volume set ‘Portrait Gallery of Eminent Americans’ was published in 1862 by Johnson, Fry & Co. All pages are intact, but there is some separation of the covers and the pages are yellowed with spots throughout.
