All 12 have a page showing that they are number 428 in a limited edition of 1000 published by G.P. Putnam's Sons in 1904. Each also has a perforated '428' on the same page
All 12 have all pages intact, with leather covers. The outside of all pages is uneven - see pics.
Each volume has a plate of Benjamin Franklin near the inside front - from a painting by Mrs. Oliver Champlain
