Was originally a treadle sewing machine, but was converted to electric early. The electric motor, light, and pedal appear to be added, and the foot petal is missing. Otherwise it appears to be complete and restorable. The top middle drawer in the cabinet is screwed on and the others fit loosely. One side needs minor repair. The pedal and motor work, and the machine spins freely, but needs a rubber belt to run electrically, and a pedal and belt to run as a treadle. The machine itself is stamped with the number 459954, and 'Davis S.M. Co.'. The wooden cover and base are also marked Davis.
