Seller tells us the Mustang was acquired from Senator Ford in 1965, and it was on the salesman’s desk. They bought a new Mustang, so they talked the salesman into including this lamp. He also tells us he rarely used it, and the bulb is original and works. The car itself is hard plastic and 7” long. Seller also tells us he made the alternator clock many years ago, and had to look long and hard to find an alternator with 12 blades. He finally found one from an inboard marine engine. The alternator was cut in half and mounted to the board, and has a quartz movement inside. There is a battery in the movement that is leaking, so the movement probably needs to be replaced.
