The Mattel Fanner Cap Pistol Box has a 1958 date. No other dates found, but they were found in the same place in the attic. The pistol has 5 of the original 6 shells stuck in the chamber. The chamber is also hard to turn, it needs a cleaning and the shells pried out. No caps included, and probably no rubber bullet noses. The box is in good condition. The gun is 9” long with a 4” barrel. The Morse Code sets both show signs of Battery leaks, but both appear to be savable. Interestingly, the Union Carbide ‘Leak Proof’ Battery from 1958 isn’t leaking. Both are all metal. The box also has a deteriorated section, probably from battery leakage - see pics. The small rifle was apart. It appears to be all there except 2 little screws. it is 8 3/4” long.
