Description:
  • Both are old school bamboo, fly rods. The 3 piece is marked Shakespeare, Texas Bug Rod, No. 1350, and is hex shaped. It is about 9’ 5” long and in very good condition. The 2-piece rod is not marked, and may be handmade. It is square and about 6’ 10” long. The eye has been repaired, and it looks like the tip may have broken off at some point. The eye is a different type of metal, and is too close to the next eye. Both have sleeves and an aluminum carrier. Both of the reels are Pfleuger Progress No. 1774.
