This tractor is in good enough condition to use in a parade. It is a 1973 Ford 2000, with 3 Cylinder Diesel. It was purchased by the seller in the late 1970’s and has lived since then in an insulated shop, never stored outside. The main user passed away in 1999, and it has been in the shop since. We put in some fresh Diesel, and it started right up. The paint is very nice, and it runs and drives as nice as it looks. It has power steering, low and high range gearbox, with 8 forward speeds and 2 reverse, power take off, and a 3-point hitch with lower hydraulics that work and stay in place. It needs a new battery; this one will hold a charge for a while but dates to 1999 or earlier. The tires were flat, but they all hold air, but some cracks can be seen on each where they were flat, but they all appear to have plenty of life left. The red charge light stays on, so the charging system may not be working. Otherwise, it is a beautiful tractor and ready to use. Includes the owner’s manual, and two extra oil filters.
