The fireplace set has four pieces and is made of metal with brass handles. A magnet does not stick to the top 6 inches of the 4 decorative handles, but does to the rest. The deco style ashtray has a great look and is made of all metal as well. There is a button on it that does not seem to do anything so it may be missing an open and closing part to where the hole is. These both have a great look to them.
