Description:
  • A World War II era US Army Corp of Engineers 5 KW Generator with a Willys MB Motor. Model PU-58/G. The trailer appears to have been added later. The generator and the skid are all Olive Drab on the inside, the outside has been painted yellow. It is all intact, with 944 hours showing on the hour meter. Seller tells us it last ran about 2 years ago, and it ran well and the generator worked. The gas in the tank is old, so we did not attempt to start. The motor turns. It has been converted to 12V and has an alternator. It also has a tag showing that the engine was rebuilt at an Engineering Depot in 1958. Complete with all panels, and even has some lights added. Overall, it is about 10’ 4” long. Both tires hold air, but one has checking from sun. Both rims are 5 x 4.25” Both tires are LT215-85R/16
