Description:
  • Carpentry tools invented in 1940, with paperwork. There is a Proof of Invention from the Chartered Institute of American Inventors, dated November 28, 1940, for a tool called a Door Butt Mortiser, and with the actual tool described - with upright wooden handle.
  • There is also a 5 page description, made by an old style mimeograph, that explains tools called the Hannis Jamb and Door Butt Marker, which also appear to be included
  • All comes in a small wooden box
