- Very good condition. This rifle belonged to a very meticulous owner, who we are told only used it a few times and kept it clean. It is a B.A.R. 30-06. Marked Made in Belgium, Assembled in Portugal. Includes the original booklets for both the rifle and the scope. There is a small rough spot on the side of the barrel, otherwise the bluing and wood finish are very nice, and it is a beautiful rifle. The barrel is just under 22”. Overall it is 44” long with the rubber butt pad. Serial Number 57480 M77. Includes an extra magazine. The scope rail is marked Leupold. The scope is a Redfield 3 x 9 that is clear through the lens. Includes a padded case, but the rifle is slightly too long for the case so the butt end doesn’t zip shut. This is a firearm, subject to state and federal regulations. All firearm purchases must be picked up at Woodland Firearms, a Federal Firearms Dealer located in Woodland, Ca. They will oversee the required transfer, background check, and 10 day waiting period required by law. Woodland Firearms, operates from their new location at 1122 Pendegast St. in Woodland, Ca. They have this firearm and it is available for viewing during their normal business hours, which are Daily 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. except closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The DROS Process must be started within 30 days of the close of the auction, or the gun will be resold
In addition to the purchase price of the firearm, the buyer will be required to pay directly to Woodland Firearms a Background Check fee of $37.19, and a Long Gun Fee of $83.00. There will also be a 10-day waiting period starting when the background check paperwork is complete, until the buyer can take possession of the firearm. The firearm buyer must pass a safety test to obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate, or hold a valid California Hunting License. (Unless they are Active-Duty Military, Peace Officer, etc.). Woodland Firearms can administer this test, and issue the Firearm Safety Certificate for a fee of $25.00.
In most cases you need a Real ID to purchase a firearm. A Driver’s License is usually not sufficient, unless you also have a certified copy of your Birth Certificate. A current passport will also work.
