Description:
  • A very detailed scale model of the SS Mission Santa Cruz, built as a merchant ship during WWII, and later used by the US Navy. It is about 34” long. The main bow sides appear to be made of a thin plaster-like material with a coating., some of the top pieces are plastic. It may have been made from an old kit. Includes the tag with all ship info. Sits on a wood base, and has a glass enclosure. There are some broken spots on the sides from age, and the top of the middle mast needs to be glued back on. A unique model in good condition.
